In the fresh produce import/export industry, certifications are the universal language of quality. Here are the three pillars we require from all our partner growers.
GlobalGAP
G.A.P. stands for “Good Agricultural Practices”. It is the most requested certification by European large-scale retail. It covers food safety, animal welfare, environment and working conditions.
BRCGS (formerly BRC)
A British standard that has become global, focused on food safety in packing plants. Essential for exporting to the UK and premium retail chains.
HACCP
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point: a systematic risk analysis methodology at every step of the chain. Often required by national regulations.
Why it matters for you
Buying certified products means:
- Reducing recall or litigation risks
- Faster customs clearance on import
- Reassuring your end customers
We refuse any partnership with a non-certified grower.
